Registration costs $50US as an annual subscription and gives you access to our Step-by-Step Tutorials, mailing list, FAQ, email support, beta-test program and bug reporting, as well as contributing to on-going developments and improvements.

Why Register?
Spinner-Scripts need to be in constant evolution to keep abreast of web technology and the implementation of the standards that lie at the heart of Spinner-Scripts functionality. It is in your own interests to ensure the scripts are kept current and continue to work as Browers, technology and conditions change. Supporting Spinner-Scripts by registering helps ensure this development continues, and being a registered user ensures you have access to the latest code versions and notification of updates.
Spinner-Scripts are also being constantly improved with added functionality. This is driven both by internal developments and client/user requirements. Registration helps these general efforts to continue. If you have a particular requirement or feature request you can also specifically commission that work to be done as a priority, and have early access to the resulting beta before it is merged with the current release.
Developers - registration also entitles you to a listing in our Developers Network, and a limited licence to use your personal Registration Key on your self-promotional site/CD. Limited in this context means use where you are promoting your own services as a Developer, and supplying generic samples of your work specifically for self promotion. Promotion of any third party or product is considered "Commercial Use" and comes under the Commercial Use Licence. If you are unsure where your intended application falls, please contact us and we will be happy to guide you.
Developers Incentive Program: Developers - if you purchase in excess of $500US of Commercial Site Licences for your clients in any 12 consecutive month period, your Registration Fee renewal will be waived for the next year, and you will be entitled to a reduced rate on the purchase of further Site Licences.
Commercial Use:
Spinner-Scripts may be used on commercial sites and in commercial applications under the following licencing scheme:
A Site Licence component based on the number of individual multimedia pieces - panoramas, objects, slide shows, or any other products that may
become available from time to time in the Spinner-Scripts range.
Current charges are a once-off: $10US for 1-10 multimedia pieces; $20US for up to 20; $50US for up to 50 etc. in multiples of 10. Volume discounts are available for clients requiring large numbers (eg in excess of 500 - catalogues for example). Contact us for special rates.

Do I need to Register AND purchase a Site Licence?
Not necessarily.
If you are a developer, you would benefit from registering, but only need to purchase Site Licences for your clients, or get your clients to licence Spinner-Scripts directly with us if you prefer. If you are promoting third party products on your web site using Spinner-Scripts, then Yes, you do need a Site Licence. If you are promoting your own services in a commercial context on your home page you do need to either register, or purchase an appropriate Site Licence. Remember that Registration entitles you to a fairly flexible licence to use Spinner-Scripts for your own self promotional purposes as well as other benefits. If you wish to use Spinner-Scripts for extensive self promotion AND third party promotions on your site, then you would get the best benefit from both Registering and purchasing a Site Licence appropriate for your third party commercial use.
If you do not have a web development team, and do not need access to tutorials or support, there is no need for you to Register unless you want to become involved in the feature request program. If you simply want to deploy Spinner-Scripts on your commercial site all you are required to do is purchase the appropriate Site Licence based on the number of multi-media pieces you intend deploying.
Site Licences can be up-graded at any time. As the Site Licence charge is once-off, not recurring, there is no rebate for unused Licence Keys.
Deploying registered licenced copies of Spinner-Scripts does not require any link-back, logo or additional acknowledgement of the origin of Spinner-Scripts other than that which the user may wish to provide, and that which is contained in the Spinner-Scripts themselves, which MUST NOT BE ALTERED. No support will be provided for deliberately tampered scripts. Modification of any part of Spinner-Scripts will be considered a breach of copyright.
Are there any ways I can use Spinner-Scripts without Registering or purchasing a Site Licence?
The only two "free" uses of Spinner-Scripts permitted are:
1. Personal evaluation only, not deployed on any commercial or personal web site or multimedia product; and
2. Limited personal use on personal home pages under the following conditions:
- the demo registration key MUST be intact and valid;
- a link to this site (www.Spinner-Scripts.com) is included beneath any image using Spinner-Scripts in the format "Spinner-Scripts©www.spinner-scripts.com";
- no services or products, personal or third party, are offered for sale using demo licenced Spinner-Scripts;
Note: in all cases the script files MUST NOT be tampered with or altered in any way. Any breach of these conditions will be considered a breach of copyright.
